What Kind of Printer & Paper I use For Printables

We have been getting a lot of questions about our printables. I thought I would address some of those questions here. I use an inkjet printer. The name of it is HP Envy 7155. I bought it about 3 years ago. It was around $200. It's an all-in-one, wireless printer, meaning it scans, copies, and prints. Although I haven't tried it, I've read it works with Alexa. They still have them on Amazon. The price has come down to around $160 now. If I need a print larger than 8.5 x 11 I usually go to my local printing company.
For printables, I use 100lb white cardstock. You can find this at any big box store. I have even seen it at places like Michael's and Hobby Lobby. You can also find it on Amazon. Sometimes, depending on the project I will just use copy paper, which is thinner than cardstock.
I cut a lot of images by hand. However, if it's an image I'm going to sell in my booth, I use a paper trimmer. This gives a clean, straight edge and looks more professional. You can find these at any craft store or Amazon.
For those of you that don't have a printer, you can still use our printables. You would need to email the image to your local print company. Saving the image to a flash drive would be another option. You can also find these on Amazon as well. You just insert this device into the side of your laptop or desktop and save the image. Then you can take the flash drive into a place like Staples or Office Depot and insert it into one of their computers for prints.
We just posted a video covering all of this. Click here to check out our Youtube channel.
