Pantone Color of the Year 2019 - Living Coral

As usual, I'm late to the party on sharing this fun news. I'm sure all you Interior Designers and blog decor followers already know this. The Pantone Color Institute color for 2019 is Living Coral. Here is a little snippet from their website.

PANTONE 16-1546 Living Coral emits the desired, familiar, and energizing aspects of color found in nature. In its glorious, yet unfortunately more elusive, display beneath the sea, this vivifying and effervescent color mesmerizes the eye and mind. Lying at the center of our naturally vivid and chromatic ecosystem, PANTONE Living Coral is evocative of how coral reefs provide shelter to a diverse kaleidoscope of color.

You can click here to go to their page and read more about this color. So what are your thoughts on this choice? Do you like it, hate it? Will, you be implementing this use of color into your booth? What about all you furniture painters can you see yourself using this color?

I have always liked Coral. It reminds me of Florida and the beach. This is a happy color my good friend, Jane of Jane Coslick Designs and Restorations uses in her work. She is an Interior Designer and Preservationist mainly at Tybee Island/Savannah, GA. Her work has been featured in countless magazines and books. If you need to see a little inspiration for this gorgeous color you can see more of her work on Facebook or Instagram

I have been doing a little research and here is what I have come up with.

The first 3 photos were from Jane Coslick

The photos from here down were all found on Pinterest
